For Frodo ...

STATS

Name: Trish

Age: 18

Sex: Female

Location: I live in South Jersey, but go to school in the Philadelphia-area. :-)

Zodiac/Birth Sign: Capricorn

Height: 5 ft. 7 in.

Eyes: Brown, and impaired. I'm very proud of the fact that I am one of the only people who still wear glasses. Although I wouldn't mind contacts ... ;-)

Hair (Color/Length): I've been dying my hair since 6th grade, so it's hard to tell what colour it is anymore. I suppose brown would be close enough, and it's just recently shoulder-length.

Hobbies: READING!! I'm not ashamed to say that I am a book-nerd - all I do is read, when I'm not busy doing work. (College, you know, it's crazy ...) Also, I love learning. I know it sounds dorky, but I LOVE reading my History and Art texts because of the information I learn. Besides that, I spend a great deal of time on the computer and talking on the phone. Also, when I'm home on the weekend, I love spending time with my pets. <3 I have two great cats and two awesome dogs. I am such an animal person. :-)

Likes: Reading, writing, maps, sleeping, animals, english, history, politics, traveling, Nick @ Nite, talking ... To name a few. :-)

Dislikes: President Bush, ignorance, discrimination, bugs/insects, pain, being heartbroken, betrayal, lies, being confused, change.

Strong points: I'm great at giving advice, because I'm a very insightful person.

Weaker points: Taking my own advice. :-\ I also find it nearly impossible to walk away from things, since change is rather difficult for me to handle.

TALENTS/SKILLS

What are some of your talents/skills? Taking notes. I know that sounds silly, but I'm excellent at note-taking, whether it be from a lecture or readings. I'm very proud of it, too! LOL. Also, like I said, I'm insightful. I kind of know when something is about to happen, because I'm very good at reading signs. I pay close attention to things, and so I always have an idea of what's going on around me - how people are feeling, their thoughts, when something good/bad is about to happen, etc.

What is your current occupation? (if still in school, just say so) I'm currently a First Year at Arcadia University. However, at school, I work in the Fine Arts Department (I tend to the Gallery on weekends) and, also, for the Phonathon at my school where I, basically, ask people for money. :-P

FAVORITES

Color: Either purple/pink/black. I know that's a weird combination, but they're the colours I like the most, depending on my mood.

Smell: Mmmm ... Cookies baking in the Winter. :-) Or rain, because sometimes it's possible to smell a Spring shower before it comes. I love the smell of rain.

Food: I'm a vegetarian, so there's not much for me to choose from. However, I'm 1/2 Italian and I LOVE Italian food - just as long as it's meatless and with an equal amount of cheese and tomoato sauce.

Place: I Love New York State. It's so vast and beautiful. I was there just last weekend, and the small-town feel is just beautiful to me. I love all the farms and cows. It's just so peaceful there, which is wonderful for vacationing and just getting away from the stress in life (Although I can't say that I'd live there).

Music: I listen to everything, except country. But if I had to choose, I'd say (the combination of) punk/pop/rock because there's actually MEANING to the songs. I like rap/hip-hop, but only for dancing and hanging out, not for it's lyrical content. The music that I like most has to have a meaning to it, it needs to affect me personally.

ONE OR THE OTHER

Impulse or thinking things through? I usually do things impulsively, because I think with my heart, rather than using reason. Whenever I make a decission, it's because of what I'm feeling at the moment and, to be honest with you, I tend to regret it afterwards, once I calm down and consider things.

Mind over heart or heart over mind? Like I said above, I'm very much a heart over mind person.

Pride or humility? Humility. I tend to downplay my accomplishments.

Selfishness or selflessness? Selflessness. You have to do things for the greater good, rather than what benefits only you.

Excitement or serenity? Serenity, it's a much nicer feeling than excitement ... Excitement isn't always a good thing. I've learned it's much wiser to remain calm.

Pleasure or sacrifice? Sacrifice. Sometimes you have to make a sacrifice in order to receive pleasure.

Slow and steady or quick and complete? Slow and steady, so as not to make mistakes.

Magic or weapons? Magic, because it can overpower any weapons.

EXTRA

If you were part of The Company of the Ring, what 5 things would you bring on your journey?
1.) A Map - I *LOVE* Maps, and I think they're very important in understanding the world and your surroundings.
2.) A Journal - I know it wouldn't be likely that I'd have time to write in it, but if I got a chance, I'd like to write down where I've been and what I've experienced for memories sake ... Or for records, in case I perished on the journey.
3.) Lembas Bread - Very fulfilling, and thus a useful thing to have on the road, where food is likely to be scarce.
4.) A Sword - You must be prepared for battle.
5.) An extra sweater or two - Not only would they keep me warm, if need be, but I could also sue them for comfort when sleeping on the hard earth.

Describe yourself in one word: Ambitious.

Got any dreams or aspirations? Even though I don't write much anymore, I hope to get back into it and publish a book. I have three unfinished books that I'd really like to wrap up and get out there. Also, I wouldn't mind getting involved in politics. I'd like to maybe be a Senator or Govenor ... or maybe even the President one day! :-)

What would you say is your motto? Hmm ... I can't really think of a motto, but probably something to do with hope. I've been through so much in my life, and I've learned that you just have to remain hopeful and never give up, because things may be at their worst, but they can ALWAYS get better. You just ahve to believe and, if need be, re-build yourself and remake yourself and just move on. :-)

Anything else? Nothing much, besides the obvious - I *LOVE* Lord of the Rings. I've read the Trilogy AT LEAST three times, have seen every movie, and own all three EE DVDs. <3 Lord of the Rings is such a beautiful story, and I'm glad I read it, even if I had to struggle throughout the series, it was worth it. :-D
