big ups to erunameundomiel! congrats dear!! I'm so happy for you!!

and with respect to comments, and I can certainly respect how hard it is to run a lims com, but being a participant I have to say that some times the 'lesser' reasons were sometimes spurious at best. I know its hard to police the types of comments people leave, but if people are going to label an icon lesser, then may be something constructive too? just a thought!

I definitely see where you're coming from, because I feel the same way about the comments. It says in the rules of every voting post that people should try to be constructive in their criticism, but as long as the votes aren't personal, I have to count them. It's hard enough to get people to vote without saying "I think" and "I don't like" that to strictly enforce being constructive would be close to impossible, unfortunately.

well, its good to know you're aware of it and I know a lot of people avoid voting because they think it'll some how help their chances, which makes no sense to me :p I just wish people would be more honest, the honour system isn't to hard to abide by I think ;)

may be I have too much time on my hands, but sometimes the number of votes don't match up with the number of people who are participating in the lims ;) not just this one, but many of the ones I'm in - just looking at the vote counts and its apparent that some people just aren't voting *shakes head* I guess whatever floats your boat ;)

Yeah, not all of the participants vote. I never thought it had anything to do with people thinking that it will help their chances, though. What would help their chances would be to vote against other icons. I figured it was just because some people don't like voting.
