Christmas Eve's Eve

Dec 23, 2004 18:54

Today wasn't that bad, no actually it was one of the better days that I have had in like the past couple of months. I went on one of my long walks, went down Stanton Hall and stopped at Hadji's house at like 1:30ish. Went to Walmart with my "uncle" and "cousin", and I saw Walt there. I don't think he recognized me, but oh well. After that I went back to Hadji's, played "princess" with his sisters, who just happened to have clip on earings in which they thought I should wear and all the other types of jewlery that a princess should wear. Oh and I got to see Hadji's new instrument, the bagpipes. It's pretty cool looking, and he should learn how to play it. At like 5:15 my mother dearest called and said I had to be home by 6. I told Mike I was about to leave, and well, he wouldn't let me walk home so he drove me home. Over all I just loved seeing kids have fun and not have anything to worry about.
Well, on Monday JP's coming over, and that'll be cool. Just think it's the eve of christmas eve, and to me it doesn't feel like Christmas yet. I like the cold weather though, it's nice. It helps to bring back memories of sliding off roads and getting stuck in snowbanks, and all that wonderful stuff of my past in the cold states of Nebraska and South Dakota. I must depart from this lovely entry so that I may sign off to go read "For Whom the Bell Tolls".
