November 2016 Drabble Challenge: Gratitude (Take Two!)
So I messed up last week when I released the Gratitude stories from the queue. We mod-people have been making some organizational changes, and this challenge happened to fall between the old system and the new, and I didn't think to check that they were consistent. (And they weren't.)
I've been releasing new stories as they've come in this week, but I also wanted to repost the links list so that all of our authors' work has an equal chance to be seen. Consider dropping by and letting one of this month's authors know if you like their work!
November was our annual drabble challenge, in which the participants write a 100-, 150-, 200-, or 300-word story about the theme of "Gratitude" that includes a random word as an element.
Paying It Forward by shirebound. The gift of learning that Bilbo gave Sam years before comes full circle.
At Last Relief by lin4gondor. Boromir finds relief at the end of his journey.
Memories of Cleansing by blslarner. Frodo remembers the healing he's known on Tol Eressea.
Pass It On by dreamflower02. The Gamgee family knows how to appreciate one another.
Every Breath by hhimring. Fingon has rescued his cousin Maedhros from Thangorodrim--their thoughts on the subject of obligation and gratitude.
Authors, I will be adding any stories to the MPTT archive at the end of the week that haven't been added already. I will let you know when I do, but if you get a chance to get your story added before then, that would be a tremendous help. I've created the challenge series and you can add your story to the challenge series, or I will do so at the end of the week.
