It's difficult to use dialect effectively and still propel a story forward. I think you succeeded in most aspects of this and congratulate you for the attempt.

Er.... thanks. I have a feeling that I should have watched the beginning of My Fair Lady again before writing it, but I was just determined to get something out.

I quite enjoyed reading from this point of view!

Thank you! I'm not sure whether I'd do him again, but it was an interesting experiment. Not-Bill is a character in one of those stories that was meant to be a couple of pages and is now well over 40 and still not finished.

Well done Sparx, gwathel-nin. *hugs* Ponyish POVs are hard to do...I don't know that I could pull it off!!! You did well, and I salute you. (Thank you for your help with Rushy...he was proving as difficult as the pony! silly Maia...oh well! It all came together for us in the end!)

I'd love to see more pony POVs from you!

*hugs more*

Thanks. LOL, yeah, sorry about that, I'd have to read it repeatedly, and I wrote the thing! Maybe I should not quit my day job.....

No worries! I enjoyed the way that you were able to write in a dialect from a completely unexpected perspective and still suggest a scene.

The one that comes to my mind is Bilbo and the elves coming to pick up Frodo on their way to the Havens.

Heh. Thanks! It's actually Not-Bill, but I'm glad that I didn't hash it up so badly that you couldn't make the connection.
