I had neither the time nor the money to attend ORC (the One Ring Convention), but a friend sent me a link to the picture gallery from it. Some of the costumes are amazing!

see, well....I saw it on a friend's list of user pictures, and I saw who it was by, went to her (smapdi_j appeared to be a girl, from what her lj said) lj, and left her a comment asking if I could use it. that was December 20th, and shortly after I just decided to use it and credit her, in the logic that if my friend had gotten it from somewhere, then presumable smapdi_j had posted it in an icons community or something, and it was up for grabs as long as I credit.

so bottom line, it's really up to you. I think that since she hasn't replied to my comment yet, that probably it is fine that I use it, since I am crediting, and every time someone says, "I love your icon!" I say that smapdi_j made it, it still credits her, you know?

update: I imed the maker of the icon, smapdi_j and she says that's fine! so credit her and enjoy! yay. :) :)
