So much fandom happiness, and a little upset.
Three things:
- I finally caught up on Doctor Who. So much awesome. And how much do I love Rory? I love Rory so very, very much. He's my favourite, I think. The bit with him and the eye-drive? I may have been tearing up a bit. And by may have, I really mean that I was, a lot. I would definitely watch a Rory-centric spin-off. I still need to see the mini-episodes, but I don't know where to find them. (A little help here, please, Whovians?) It's going to be hard waiting for next season.
- Just watched The Avengers today. Also so much awesome. Oh dear Asgard. Though, I thought Clint wasn't loudmouthy enough for his canon self. But still really badass. And Coulson! I can't. But yes, as a long-time comic fan, I vote that they did a good job. And I loved the Enver Gjokaj cameo. And yes I did need to check how to spell his name. But he's one of the most talented actors I've ever seen. (Doubt me? Go watch Dollhouse)
- All the hate on Matt Smith carrying the Olympic torch is bothering me. He deserves to be honored. Being upset that he's doing it and not David Tennant is not being a fan, it's being a jerk. Saying 11 is awesome is not saying 10 is not. Please, get over it and let the man alone.
