Ah! Richard Dean Anderson is wonderful, in his MacGyver incarnation, and just about every other role, too!

SG-1 is very sci-fi, of course. MacGyver is 'secret agent, gentleman troubleshooter'. Legend--a short-lived western-era series with over(and under)tones of 'Wild Wild West'--is another of my favourite RDA projects. (Sadly, 'tis not available on DVD except on iPirate dot com) *giggles*
