Two posts in two weeks, I'm on a roll!!!
We went looking at most of the places that we could think of that sells DVD's in our area to find season one of NCIS. The hubby and I are both addicts, but got hooked late in the game. We hit Best Buy first but no dice, instead we walked out with a book for each of the kids and an Eminem cd for me. Surprised the hell out of the hubby, the look on his face was priceless!!! I'm a tad bit obsessive and for the most part not so much into rap or hip hop. I have all but the very first HIM cd, three of the HIM cd's that I do have are net editions and two of the regular ones were close to $50... rather proud of that collection. I have all of AFI's cd's although those weren't to hard to come by.... But the real bitch and one collection I am by far the most proud of is my Tokio Hotel. All I can say is thank god for ebay. Living in the fucked up state of Idaho, there isn't many places that sell foreign music and no where that sells Tokio Hotel in German. But over the course of a year, I've managed to aquire most if not all of thier stuff... so yeah, and my Scream is even autographed. Stood in line for like three hours to get that done but it was worth it. The chica that I met in line and I still talk even over a year later. I meet people in the oddest places. But yeah so that's a lovely thing. When Tokio Hotel come back to the states, Izzy and I are going to go together. She's my Vegas hoe and I'm her Idaho pimp.... don't ask, it's one of those you had to have been there things. I hate my keyboard!! The damn thing keeps skipping letters that I know I hit, so I have to go back and fix it, it's getting old and a pain in the ass! Something else to add to the list. I think the next group I'm going to work on acquiring is going to be Oomph!, and I'll be usin ebay because once again no one here has anything. I swear someone really should open a total foreign music store that sells nothing but stuff from other countries. Are we that narrow minded that we can't buy and enjoy groups that don't necessarily sing in English? But yeah... I have a thing for groups from Germany and Finland. And they are a pain in the ass to find around here.
On another note.... the hubby wanted to go to the t mobile store to look at a phone that his brother has, he wanted one. So we went and talked to them about it only to find out that the phone that he originally wanted is better and the same price. So he's going to stick getting a G3 at some point. And then we decided to find out what kind of deal we could get if we were to get his G3 and my Samsung Memoir now instead of waiting for our contract to expire in August next year. Mind you, the full retail on them is $500 a pop, so we're looking at a grand in phones..... well we can get them both for only $300!!! Now we just need to come up with that but still, it beats the HELL out of $500 or $1,000.... so I'm happy. As long as I have it before I go to whatever concert I go to next. The phone I want has an 8mp camera on it!! Can you imagine? The digital we have at the moment is only 6.2, so my phone would be better!
