Well, I finally made it back. From Boise, Idaho to Las Vegas, Nevada is about a twelve hour drive with stopping for gas and food and then construction in spots and traffic.... all in all though it's not bad. We opted to go through Utah and Arizona, more places to stop and more traffic (both are pros and cons, but when you have a van full of females the pros weigh more then the cons.....). Anyway, in the end it was me, my friend's girlfriend, her daughter and her mom that made the trip. Stacey and China and I were the ones that went for the show.
The show was AWESOME!!! They were late coming out on stage and I'm not sure if anyone ever did find out why, but it was after eight thirty, almost nine before they came on stage. And since there was another act using the joint, they had to be over by ten.... so that part sucked butt hard.... but the band themselves made up for it.... HOLY SHIT!!! I'm already looking forward to seeing them again. The energy and intensity was outragious! When the show ended and China and I went outside to meet up with her mom (we stayed on the floor and she went to the balcony to get better pics with her phone), not only did we have the usual ringing in the ears and mostly gone voice but it felt like we were drunk. That doesn't happen to me at very many shows but when it does, dang! I love it!! There's no hangover, LOL. Most of the pics that I took with my phone didn't turn out half bad, amazingly enough. The camera part of it isn't that great, only 1.3 megapixals. Most of the time I had it zoomed out to four or eight. Anyway, while Stacey was up in the balcony, she got to talking to another parent who told her about how Tokio Hotel was going to be at Hot Topic and the Meadows Mall doing a signing the next day. Her daughter had a pass to go to it, but she didn't really want to go so she offered the pass to Stacey. When we got to the mall the next day, we found out that they were still doing the promo, all you had to do was buy a Tokio Hotel item. They were sold out of everything but the CD and had been for a day or two. So I bought another copy of the CD, although this time it was like ten bucks cheaper and it's signed. So WOOHOOO!!! And while we were standing in line we got to talking to the chica in front of us. We ended up exchanging numbers and emails and she's going to let me know the next time HIM comes through! So, yeah.... I'm guessing that until Jeremy gets me out of Idaho, I'm going to be making that drive more often.... now to just get work to co operate with me.... I have to work two weekends a month, but the other two I get off. Should be able to pick which ones I want off... eh, we'll see how it ends up going. But all in all, it was GREAT! Even the drive there and back was fun.
I got a new tat, so now I'm up to three..... with about four more on the back burner.
