Where the hell did this come from?

An update? Seriously? Yeah. I know, it's crazy. Kind of like my life these past few weeks. I can't believe I haven't updated since before Radiohead. Speaking of which, the concert was incredible. There are lots of lovely pictures posted here. I'll add some more pretty soon because I haven't got around to unloading the other disk of pictures that Kristen took onto my computer.

So, what have I been doing? Working. Writing. Hanging out. Reading...fanfiction...yeah, what a terrible vice. :) Oh well. That's what summer is for, yeah? I've been falling behind in my poetry class. I have a quiz this weekend that I haven't even started on. Ugh. At least we don't have to write a 10-page paper anymore. That woulda sucked balls.

I went home for the 4th of July weekend, which was fun. I really miss my family. I've always gone home for the summers and been around them for extended periods of time so that I end up sick of them. Now that I've only seen them in small amounts since Christmas break, I find that I'm missing them quite a bit. :( Who would have thought growing up and being independent would suck like that? I won't see Mum and Grandma till August when they come down for the Chris Botti concert, and I won't see Dad or Grandpa until September, and I won't see Ben at all because he's going off to college. Wow. Ben's going to college. Now there's a mind fuck. Makes me feel old. Sad, eh, when 21 feels old? Heh...I didn't mean to go all morose in this post. Granted, I just woke up and didn't sleep very well. The heat, combined with the inordinate amount of spiders living in our apartment, gives me really wretched nightmares. Fortunately, I shall consume enough booze to pickle a rhinocerous this evening and shall probably sleep quite well. Yay for shindigs, no?

Um...ooh! Yeah, POTC2 anybody? So far I'm the only person I know who absolutely loved it. Please tell me I'm not alone. I've seen it twice thus far and will no doubt see it again, soon. So much pretty in the Jack Sparrow/Will Turner/James Norrington camp. :P Yes, horniness can make you like a movie more. I dressed up the first time I went to see the film with my cousins. We looked pretty badass in our pirate gear. 'Twas fun. I've never dressed up for a film before. I think I may have to work on my Harry Potter costume for when the OotP film and the seventh book come out. Heeheehee.

Guess that's all for now. I need to shower and shave and paint my toenails and pretty myself up cuz I'ma goin' ta Medford today! Wheee...
