Just finished watching The Last Unicorn on my brand new (sort-of) X-box. :) Also beat Fable this afternoon. It was a lot easier than I remember it being. Maybe because I already knew how to defeat Jack...hmm.
In case you couldn't tell, I'm back in Ashland now. It's amazing how much farther along spring is down here than it is back in John Day. It's actually not freezing at 2 in the afternoon. How lovely, no? The drive wasn't too bad, a little bit of snow on the Ochocos, and snow flurries. There was a tetchy bit with hail on 97, but I came through admirably unscathed. It's good to be back, though campus is utterly dead. I think there's about 10 people back in Susy and Cascade is all locked up. Sorry, couldn't get your letter, Leslie.

Yesterday, Dad and I went skiing. The snow was lovely, not to soft, not too sticky, and the weather was quite nice. We started skiing about 10 and left around 2 when the weather took a turn for the nasty. Skiing without visibility never made anyone happy, after all.
Big news. Well, for me it is...my loyal readers probably won't care. Dad found out about my tattoo, finally, on Thursday night. I was not struck down by the wrath of God, nor am I entirely disinherited and out on the streets. He said he was disappointed in me, but he still loves me, which is something with which I think I can live. It's only a little disappointment, after all, when compared with how wonderful I am in general. (I'll just keep telling myself that to keep myself from feeling too guilty.)
My ant problem appears to be gone. Don't know if I ever posted about the ant invasion that began shortly before Spring Break. I woke up one morning and my "clean" dishes had about 200 ants all over them. So, I called Maintenance and complained and they gave me an ant trap. Came back from break and no ants to be seen. Let's hope it stays that way, eh?
Guess that's all for now. Don't forget to "spring ahead" one hour tomorrow! :)
