Cold. Very cold. Sunny but freezing. Not warm. This is the weather in John Day. And no, Kristen, I don't want to know how warm and sunny and nice Mexico is, so don't even bother. I'm super tired right now because I woke up at 5 for yoga. Is it just me, or do I not sleep much when I'm home. I really need to sleep in tomorrow, but I know I'll wake up at 7 or earlier just because it'll be so light in my room by then. Ugh. By the way, PMS sucks.
What have I been doing with my break? Not much of anything, really. Wednesday was Mum's birthday, so I made a chocolate slab (which is incredible, btw) with kahlua custard sauce. First time I've ever made custard and it came out exceedingly well. :) So very tasty. Yesterday Ben had a baseball game. Sat out in the cold and watched it. The Prospectors beat the Central Linn Cobras 15-4. Ben plays first base, and he's pretty good. Hopefully sometime in the two weeks that I'm home he'll get to pitch a game, but who knows. I'm not going to the game today. I'm going to nap instead and play Knights of the Old Republic II on Ben's old X-Box, which I shall be hauling back to Ashland with me, as he hasn't sold it yet, and I have the money to buy it. Hahahahaha! I shall have a DVD player at last. And an X-Box. Not to mention 6 controllers and several games. Hee.
I'm so bored. I've been reading a lot, writing a bit, brooding too much. For some reason I find I have a great deal to contemplate, and I'm not sure about anything, which is frustrating. I had really thought I was past this sort of pensive contemplation, but it seems I was wrong. I find myself snapping out of a daze far too often during the day because I've been thinking about all the circumstances of this situation and wondering about things. *sigh* Enough of this.
I'm stinky and mungy so I'm going to shower now...
