Apathy isn't such a great way to start off the New Year.

I'm tired. Really. But you don't care. But, hey, I wasn't hungover this morning. And I had a lot of champagne cocktails last night. Not to mention a Bailey's and Eggnog. Mmmm. Fun party, not as many people as last year, but it was much cozier. And I looked hot. When I manage to get Mum's camera, I'll post a picture of the family dressed up as pirates. We're pretty cool looking. Really.

I'm not going to do a 'year-in-review' thing. That's what I have a journal for, after all. Anyway, it'd just be pages of ecstatic babbling about England. Which you've all already read, of course. :) Maybe a mention of turning 21. But no.

Mum and I started off the New Year pretty nicely, though. Played cribbage as a family tonight, me and Mum against Ben and Dad. We stomped them three games to two. We always win, though, so I don't know why it's such a big deal. And dinner was excellent. Yes, the conductor forgot to board my train of thought. So sue me. We had sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was splendid. Mmmmm. I'm definitely a fan of the sticky toffee pudding.

And just a week, now, and I'll be back in Ashland. Weird. Funny how life just moves on like that.

So, hail 2006! May this year be even more incredible than the year previous. Not really sure how this year can top England, but I'm sure something amazing will happen. After all...I wore red knickers last night. That's always a harbinger of good fortune. :D

Happy New Year!
