It is cold. Winter has definitely descended, and with it snow. And ice. And howling winds.
But neither chill, nor shortening daylight hours, nor a fall of snow can deter Lot from his fishing, even though at the moment he's conducting said fishing with the aid of a rod, a reel, and a spring that's kept the surface from freezing over, rather than, say, a boat and some nets.
