so pissed off
For the last 2 weeks I've been doing my training for a job at Nucomm International...it's a $10/hour call center that provides internet help to the states well for this job while you're in training you have to do 6 tests and if you get 80% or more you pass, if you get between 70% and 80% you can re-write the test but if you get below 70% you fail and you're out of the training class but you can come back and re-apply for the job in 3 months...well on my first test I got 94%, 2nd test 90%, 3rd test 90% and on my 4th test I got 96% but on the test we had today I got 60% and it wasn't because I didn't know the stuff it was because we hadn't spent near enough time on the toubleshooting, that was everyone's complaint...there were 3 of us that failed it and 2 had to re-write it...so on Monday I'm putting out resumes and if I get a job I like then no I'm not re-applying there in 3 months, what so I can do 6 more tests just to get an effin job, I've never had to do tests before to get a job! But at least I get 2 weeks pay out of this.
Things with Rich and I are going well, our house is a mess right now but when I clean it it gets messed up in like 5 mins either by the kitten or by Rich....I'd like to move into town sometime soon tho, I'm sick of it taking so long to get into town and then get home so we only get to spend like an hour in town...don't get me wrong it's a really nice place to live but we're both too busy to be living that far out of town and when I don't have a job and I don't drive it REALLY sucks being out in the middle of nowhere so you're not in walking distance to anything...oh well...I'm at my parents place right now so maybe I'll see if I can find something reasonable in the paper.
Oh a few weeks ago Rich had an interview with the Cobourg Police Station he had to write like a 5 hour test but he passed it and got his stamp so he never has to do that test again anywhere in Canada and now he's just waiting to see if he gets called in for another interview and if he does and if he gets the job then he has to go away to the Police school in Elmer for 3 months so that would suck but it's great for him. (fingers crossed)
Anyways I'm sick of looking at a computer screen.
