dont never wanna gonna be nothin
so last night was really nice. i didnt do much all day. at 5 30 i met the others at s market and then we went shopping for food, and that took longer than it should have because 10 people cant make decisions, but eventually saana took charge and picked up whatever we needed. then we went to Lari's place. it was great fun getting there. five of us in the car, and five out walking. halfway there, (it wasnt even far) we stopped and picked up the other five. saana got up front and sat in nina's lap. juho got in the trunk. then we didnt know what to do with the other three, but they just went and sat in the trunk. markku stood actually. so we drove like that. the trunk open and whatnot. when we got there the parents had a video camera out and little sister had a digital of course. when lari came out he was like "what is this?!" then he went around hugging everybody. it was the first time we had met, but he still gave me a hug. i told him "it's so not fair that you got to go to long island when i got sent to heinävesi!" we talked quite a lot. there was champagne, but not enough for anybody to get tipsy. two bottles of champagne between 11 people = not very much. just for toasting to him for being home again. tonight i'll see him again, and we'll probably talk a lot more because he'll be coming with me nina and pete to joensuu. so i'll be gone til monday. i'm really looking forward to Ilosaari Rock. check out the bands here it will be a great opportunity for me to see people and kind of say good bye. it'll be sad, but that's alright.
i got three books on tuesday and i've finished them all now. Around the World in 80 Days<, The Catcher in the Rye, and The Graduate. all pretty good books. i dont know if i'll be reading much more while i'm here. seems there's better things i could do. i dont know. we'll see.
