nice suprises

This evening MB and Michael and I went to see "3:10 to Yuma." Wow was it good. I haven't really seen a western for awhile and it was sweet. It also made me miss home and the great big West, which MB teased me about but whatever. There's something about huge open plains and mountains and men with guns on horses that gets me all excited. :D

The Collegian is going well this year...I am definitely a lot busier with it as I have to write every week and this past weekend I got a big story rather late in the game. The story I got today will be the third in the row where I will be talking to people beyond the campus for a large part of my interviewing. I am enjoying getting to know more people in the community like Richard at the Annex, John at Checker Records, and Tony at Premiere Theatre. He's great.

Classes are sweet...Moran still hasn't figured out that class ends at 10:45, not 10:50 or fudging closer to 11 like he thinks. Ah, well, I guess it's because he's new but no one seems to want to tell him that he's teaching for too long every single day. Haha. I hate "Gulliver's Travels"....ridiculous. Seriously.

But overall things are going well! Had a blast at the Garden Party, went crazy dancing which I love to do. A lot of my friends were dancing who I never would have expected to do anything except waltz so that was awesome. Share the dancing love!!!

I miss my brother a lot. This suprises me a bit but it's also a good thing. We were watching "Doom" (crazy movie) but at the end there is some nice brother/sister bonding and that plus the fact that the movie is based off a video game reminded me a lot of Paul. :( I wish I could see him go through his senior year of high school. Hillsdale is one of his top choices which makes me happy. I would love to have him here. I think my parents would like it too. But of course, there is the issue of money, money, money.

Sigh.

Life continues.
