back into reality
The first week back at Hillsdale has been fine...my classes will all be interesting and fun so that will make life a heck of a lot easier than last semester.
I ended things with Seth which was really sucky at first and consumed my thought for the majority of the summer but I know I did the right thing. I feel weird every now and then here though because he was a large part of my Hillsdale life.
Summer was alright...working full-time at the florist made me realize how happy I am that I am not going into a career like that for the rest of my life. Doing the exact same thing over and over and over again would kill me. There are only so many times I can answer the phone and say "Longmont Florist downtown, this is Maria" and enjoy it. But hey, money is money and now it's keeping me afloat.
This year is going alright, albiet a few things are confusing me emotionally.
The first Collegian meeting of the year is tonight! I'm excited for this year and my reporter status...this year will be important for determining my future with the Collegian so I gotta work hard. Not like I don't want to....
Well, gotta get ready for class.
