[As the feed clicks on Kamui can be seen lazily lying in bed, whether he’s feeling a bit under the weather or is simply being lazy will remain a mystery. There’s a fish bowl just in shot which seems to be the main focus of Kamui’s attention, despite the fact that he intentionally started the video feed.]
...I think that there are days when it’s good to be here and there are days when it’s bad. Days when you want to stay and days when you want to go home.
[He pauses for a few moments before swinging himself round to sit on the bed edge. Absently he rubs a hand over his shoulder.]
I think that maybe i’m getting too old for saving people, maybe... Does anyone else get that feeling that maybe some people you just need to leave and let what happens simply happen?
I know that you can’t save everyone but...can you really let something bad happen to someone if you can see it happening. Can you really let it happen if you know that the other person won’t stop it themselves?
[He shakes his head, rests his hands in his lap and stares down at them.]
