So last weekend we went out to A2 to meet with friends who were in town for the holidays.
One of them happens to be the minister who will be performing our wedding ceremony.
We met for lunch at Zingermans (Mmmmmmm...), and wedding-related conversation abounded.
Well, and life, work, and geek-related conversation too...
We then moved over to angry_seamus and avensdesora for a bit more catching up.
When we were getting ready to leave, I hugged the minister-lady and said the following;
"Can you do me one favor? Can you find us a Bible verse for the wedding that isn't 'Love is paitent, love is kind, love is a pain the ass...'"
Yes. I said that. To our minister.
I really hate that I Corinthians is the most used wedding quote, but it is used completely out of context.
Anyways, I am reaching out to my fellow LJ-ers.
