I've been accepted into both PhD's that I applied for; I've got until late February to make up my mind. Psychopharmacology is in the lead at the moment, but that's probably going to swing back to History & Philosophy of Science at least once before February. I still may end up tossing a coin in the end...

Highlights from my thesis feedback, received today:
"The quality of the research conducted appears to be of the highest standard and the theoretical engagement is impressive..."
"The review is extremely well written..."
"Data analysis is excellent..."
And so on. There's a fair bit of criticism in there too, but for once it's actually criticism that I agree with, and it was mostly just about my reluctance to slavishly follow APA style guidelines. Quite happy.

I was planning on heading out for a ride on Bell's Line of Road and a walk up
Mt Banks today, but crappy weather has postponed that until tomorrow. Should be fun, and it'll give me a chance to try out my
new bike boots on an extended ride...
