So... being that Kucinich is no longer an option I'm currently supporting Obama for president.

There are certainly many things we are not on the same page on.... but the number one reason I support Obama over Clinton is that he never supported the war.  I think he's the best option, but I don't care to argue about it.

you might want to check out ontheissues.com they have all of his major policy statements and voting record. They also have links to the full statements..

Obama is actually much more hawkish than people think.

1) Get al Qaeda hiding in hills between Afghanistan & Pakistan. (Aug 2007)

2)Military action in Pakistan if we have actionable intel. (Aug 2007)

3)FactCheck: Yes, Obama said invade Pakistan to get al Qaeda. (Aug 2007)

look around the website click on the options on different issues for obama's exact statements etc...
It is the best website for info on the candidates and issues..

I guess at this point I don't feel there's a rush. I'm quite decided on Obama over Clinton and there's not really anyone else to vote for with our lovely system.

Ooh - I was there too and he was awesome. I love the way he talks. And they played a U2 song, so I have to vote for him b/c I do whatever Bono tells me to. ;)

Jk - I like most of his policies and am ready to break away from the Bush/Clinton years. I agree that Kucinich is my first choice, but Obama is the best actual choice I have. And he's sooo eloquent! (Yes, geeky English teachers love eloquence.)

Also - in your Where's Waldo pic, there are 2 of my students - the boy in the yellow shirt, and the girl to the right of him in blue. :)
