So i just finished reading this book on Vipassana Meditation called Mindfulness in Plain English. It is all about insight meditation which has been a pretty great thing for me over the past few weeks. When I started I was doing about 10 minutes a day and would feel myself focus on things that itched on my body and would then move my focus to understand why that feeling was there. After a few weeks of doing this every day and trying to extend the amount of time when I feel I have control over myself, now I can really block out a sensations that try to attach themselves to my body. Yesterday I sat for a good thirty minutes and it was the best feeling of relaxation and overwhelming calmness that I have felt in oh so long. This has really made me want to venture into the mountains and really see some of this country that we live in. I see it on the TV but have never really had the chance to see any of it. Work is life now that college is over, and it saddens me that I was not able to ever make it out to Cali with Aaron. I slowly started to realize that one of the more happier times in my recent life is the times that I spend with my friends skateboarding around campus and just chilling and listening to music.
I also found a pretty cool site for screen writing it is called Plotbot.com it is a place you can write and share your screen play with friends and allow them to add and make notes. Or you can keep it to yourself or you can let random people add to it and review it. I pretty good idea, I have not worked with it to much but I hope that it does a lot of auto editing for me, or I will need to find another version of final draft.
