I am behind in my posting again. I have two weeks of BTL posts to make.
• Halloween was great. Summer got hurt at her party at school when she tripped on the hem of her witch costume. She had to got to the hospital, but her finger was just sprained and thankfully not broken. On Halloween we went to Pinckney for Pumpkins in the Park. Clara's first trick-or-treats was really fun to watch. She was a very cute Pooh bear and you should have seen the smile on her face when all these people were giving her candy. Emily was a doggie and Abby was Elmo for school, but opted for the warmer unicorn costume for trick-or-treating. We all entered pumpkins into the pumpkin carving contest. Nobody in Pinckney knew who Hellboy was, so mine did not win. Sydney won for the adult contest for her small pumpkin inside a larger pumpkin jail. Emily won for the kid contest for her surprised face pumpkin. I guess he was surprised because he won! We missed placed the camera so no pictures. :(
• Emily almost died this week. she tripped and fell and hit her head really bad on the pavement while she was at school. Since she is on Coumadin, we were all sure that she was having a brain bleed. She was in a lot of pain and waning between consciousness. The school called an ambulance but after she got her loaded in, the ambulance would not start. So they had to call a second ambulance to take her to the Emergency Room. Hours later she had a CT scan and was cleared of any bleeding.
• I am getting behind at work. I missed part of Tuesday because Emily was in the ER. Then I spent all Wednesday processing all the photos for our website. Since we just finished our holiday gift guide I had 24 more photos than I normally would not have to do on a regular week. On Thursday the power went out and we had to leave early. I worked late yesterday, but I am so behind that I will have to go in this weekend. I know I am going in on Sunday, but I might also go in after the football game today. We have a double sized issue for World AIDS Day coming next week.
• Sydney's glasses broke and she had to get a new prescription anyways. Mom helped out with the cost. The new glasses look really cute.
• Looking forward to Thanksgiving. I am thinking of going to the parade in Detroit. She is preparing all sorts of vegan dishes this year.
• Sydney has lost 22 lbs since becoming vegan. Good for her.
