Who'd have guessed working on a flagship like this one might be, I don't know, busy? As in, twenty jobs to do in half the time at double the speed. As in, it's hard to pay attention to some glitchy website when there's not enough hours in the day to do everything that's gotta be done. Oh, and if anyone of you think this kind of travel's fun? You can't tell what day it is. Well, you've got your computers, sure, and you can just keep track in your head if you like, but you still aren't seeing a sunrise and sunset unless you're on shore leave and even then, I wouldn't count on it.
Enough of that, I doubt you're all interested in the Log of What Could Possibly Go Wrong. The short version of this paragraph long essay is that I've finally got standard alpha shift instead of being forced into pulling a double. Who knows how long that'll last, but I'm not saving my breath. I'm back, for now, and so help me if I've missed an outbreak of plague while I've been busy, I'm hypospraying the lot of you.
So, what'd I miss?
