Wow- I have to admit, I do see Grandma Mae as being a little evil in that she doesn't have evil intentions, but fools in people's lives, with their minds and memories, like she's a God. Those original parents don't get to be remembered or honored, and choice is taken away from everyone. I think it's sweet that it happens because she wants it so bad, but it's dangerous. Whatever else, John and Dean loved Sam, and vice versa. So I wasn't that sad at her fate. And that makes me a little guilty- hating on an old woman (see you drew your characters so well I feel bad for OFCs!!!)
But I was shocked. I expected it to be Jess. But your way made so much sense. I mean- Jess was a great friend, but Mae's the one who took Sam away from the demon, in a way, gave him a whole family that will come in the way of the YED making Sam his soldier. So great, wonderful plot development.
I also liked the way you drew the boys- anxiety, a lot of holding back, and then finally giving in- fit so well with Dean. And as for Sam- never really feeling like a Winchester, so finding it a little easier to give in to his feelings even when he knows. It just fit.
