look what i gots! i paid 129 for it though. did that link work? thanks to tina for helping walk me through that, i'm dumb, but appreciative :)
anyways, i decided to say the big F U to the locals and go online to get my system. i could have bought 2 of the head units i just bought for the price of one (minus installation) at any of the hi fi places i went to. theiving bastards. oh well. shopping around helps. glad i'm not totally hopeless. for the most part. looking to get my subs and the rest of my system from the same place. if anyone wants to find a kickass place for kickass stereo systems, try
this site. you can't go wrong. i don't think.
i just found out (thanks to stephie's lj entry) that latin is gunna be 2nd period. this is awesome because: 1. i will see all my latin nerds at an ungodly hour of the morning, i'm betting it's when we're at our best, but i highly doubt it.
2. i will see stephanie first thing in the morning, which means my day can't go wrong. i don't think. either way, it's gunna be good for ben, having latin 2nd period every day. i think. i'm getting more and more anxious to get back to school. i also found out that mike, the guy who works with me at winn dixie, goes to west shore too, so i have another senior friend . this has been without a doubt, the best summer i've ever had, which is kind of sad, but i guess the right people make a summer awesome. too bad it has to end.... oh well...ben OUT.
[edit] the first link didn't work. so here's whatcha do: click the link. then scroll over products. scroll up to product models. then go down to control. click on head units and changers. click on the head units option on the following page. then click on cd players. THEN click on model type CDE-9841. THAT is the proper page, and the unit i got. sweet, eh? yeah, you're right, it is ^_^
