Ah, this was perfect. The prose was beautiful. I've always imagined Charlie as a bit of a puckish character. I loved how forward Penny was and how Desmond slowly came out of his shell among the two of them. This was a lovely AU meeting - no angst as requested! I wish I could spend the day in a dewy meadow with these three!

So pleased you liked this. I was gonna go with a really angsty Des/Penny but I figured you'd like this better. I still can't quite believe I had Charlie giving Des a blowback. It's been a long time since I wrote my two favs together.

Yeah, I like the Pace bros subplot in this. I figured that Charlie just stormed off for the day to get Liam's attention - a little brother protest! Then he mellowed out with Despenny.

I know! It was when I got the idea for Charlie sharing smoky kisses with Penny and Desmond that I decided this had to be written. Charlie on heroin may be bad, but stoner!Charlie is kinda sexy.
