Good morning everyone. It's a lovely day, if I do say so myself.
I got home from work a few hours ago, and it was fun. Everyone I work with is great. However, my mind is focused on returning to school in 2009. I'm trying to avoid becoming good friends with anyone I work with, because I would miss them next year, but no matter where I go for lunch and breaks, at least two people come to sit and talk with me. I go and sit outside away from the building and they still come and chat. Nice people though.
There is a coaching clinic I have to attend on September 13th, which will officially register me as a coach for the Timmins Selects Basketball program. If the program doesn't run all winter, then I'm going to talk to my high school basketball coach about being an assistant coach on the Timmins High Blues Sr. Boys basketball team this winter. It'd only be for one season, but oh well. That would just add to my coaching resume, and help my chances of coaching down south next year when I go to university.
I'm doing alright in my life right now. I just really miss my friends from Windsor. Talking to them on MSN is one thing, but being around them is much better. Other than that, I'm happy with how my life is.
For Spring Break next year, I was thinking about going to Cancun, Mexico or the Caribbean. However, Rashad thought it would be cool if I went to visit him at his university, Ole Miss, which is in Mississippi. I may just do that. Mind you, if I beat him in a game of 1-on-1, which is possible, i'll never let him live it down. If I dunk on him, I swear that will rival Baron Davis's dunk on Andrei Kirilenko in the 2007 NBA play offs as one of the sickest dunks ever.
