I send my heart out to those who are experiencing the floods. It was reported that federal aid was taking too long for those who are in New Orleans. Figures, when a crisis happens in this country, the government takes its sweet time. The National Guard was sent to N.O today. What a mess. Police officers were reported to have walked off of the job due to the chaos surrounding them. How horrid and sad to witness fellow Americans losing the battle against Mother Nature.
