Been in SF for a little over 2 weeks now. Much better than being in TN, certainly. I am still having a very frustrating and aggravating time finding work. Of course I have accounts on nearly every job finding site you can imagine (both industry and non), but I find that nearly all the suggestions I get from such sites are all either scams or ( Read more... )

OK, here's his take:

Search around for voice actors who advertise as teachers. He didn't say, but I'd imagine that you could check trade publications or the paper to find them.

After getting a name, contact AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and double check that the person offering to teach in legit.

Take their class if they check out. In his words "all will blossom from there". *grin*
