Ahhh A good evening out
Kevin (stillvisions) and I took a jaunt to see the awesome that Star Trek . As sjen rightly says, if the Trek 2009 Reboot is your gateway drug to Trek, then it's a good one.
I think we might well have come up with the Star Trek 2009 Drinking Game.
One Rule: You drink every time they use a lensflare.
Also, I'm not one to jump to the auto!slash scenario, but oh my GOD, when the very straight guy you're with can not unsee the slashy Kirk/Spock overtones....
Anyway - we had dinner at Baton Rouge and otherwise rambled and wandered and chatted about anything and everything. After the movie, we wound up trekking (hahaha) back to Kevin's place - he dropped his things off and drove me home.
All in all an awesome day- and I hope AN goes well for him. We'll have to do another weekend where he isn't on-call with the blackberry and he doesn't have to drive me so he can relax
