something's better on the other side

I believe things are on the edge of falling into place. Like puzzle pieces kind of jammed together, beveling up before settling into perfection - my life is a big, inane simile. It's odd that I sound optimistic about what's to come, because right now I actually don't feel that way at all. My gut tells me everything is plummeting to the earth, ( Read more... )

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how dropping those educational classes (no matter how much they suck) will help you in the world. I mean, I'm in an all theater all the time year right now, and I gotta tell ya, there's an urge to do math every once in a while (as crazy as that sounds). I don't know what your college plans are (FOOTHILL THEATER CONSERVATORY!!!) but I feel like dropping classes the last semester of senior year won't help much of anything. I mean, free time in the afternoon is awesome, I agree whole-heartedly, but is it really worth the loss of education?

I don't know if you care about my two cents, but I gave 'em to you anyway. I know you'll do what you want and what's best. (LIKE THE FOOTHILL THEATER CONSERVATORY!) (no hints or anything...)

And about those teachers, Will, I believe that if you are really on their bad sides you can turn their heads and prove you're a good kid. Think of it as a challenge. And if you don't want to do that, think of it as an acting exercise. You can observe the crap out of these people to better your craft. Now there's an idea...

I'm not judging, or trying to push you in one direction or another (FOOTHILL THEATER CONSERVATORY!), but I just wanted to give you a different perspective on things. You will do what is best for you, and only you really know what that is.

And COME SEE CANDIDE AT FOOTHILL!!!
