to ithaca and back...
so i'm going to visit david tomorrow. =) i'm very excited. i haven't seen him in over two years, since right after i found out i was pregnant. right now i'm making a mixed cd for the journey - it will be titled 'going to ithaca'. it is filled with music that puts me in a good mood, and music that reminds me of david. overall, music that will fit the trip. i'm listening to the songs i'm downloading as i'm constructing the cd, and i'm dancing in my seat. it's putting me in a good mood. =)
on the downside, david and i used to be really good friends with another person too, but unfortunately none of us really speak anymore. i kept trying to call this third friend today, to invite them go come along to see david, but they wouldn't answer their phone or respond to any text messages. it makes me sad - seriously. but at least i tried, right? i offered for them to come along, because i knew that they would both benefit from seeing each other. oh well though. =/
