I miss simplicity...but who doesn't, I suppose?
Wrote a poem with some actual meter today...Well, I'm pretty sure it has meter, but I think it does, and it makes me happy. Taking modern poetry is paying off:
A love so blind as to thine eyes
How could I see it hypnotized?
More lovely than a summer day
How could it ever end, I say?
My heart’s aghast in all its wealth
My happiness, a moment’s welt.
My tears still veiled to those all else
To hide my soul, is not consoled.
To quiver at thy very thought
To shiver, shake, and then to rot
I dare not wish these things to be
I merely hope we keep it three.
Just random wrote it out of the blue.Anywhozits, Tonight was fun. Hung out with Holly and Megan. We watched The Notebook and they farted...a lot...HA. I got to drive them home in the Taurus. it made me happy, i missed that car. It's so shiny now!!! It's amazing.
I think i need to go to bed...oh dang it, I wanted to ask Jill a question though...but she's not at her computer right now...ah, nuts. *sigh*
Did i ever mention how much i despise pop culture?...I despise it, and everything about it. it needs to die...too bad i can't just murder it. Stick a knife through it and call it art...mmm yeah...
