Medea, Jazz, 42nd Street, Oh my!
This past weekend, we opened Medea for preview performances, and I think it went really well. It was really interesting because Ms. Strong (Mrs. Holmes, whatever) was actually on stage with us on Friday night. So much for the teacher/student barrier. It really hasn't sunk in that this was my last show on the Lecture Hall yet. I mean, it's only just beginning for me, I just joined Drama last year and it's already ending. That's really depressing. As cliche as it is, I really do wish I had joined the club earlier. I wish I had more time.
Competition season is coming up fast now. This Thursday is the Norwood Jazz Festival our first Jazz competition this year. Then March 3rd is the first round of Drama competition. Plus add rehearsals for the musical and I am in stress heaven. And at the same time, I will miss this stress once it has passed. Funny how that works.
And now, prom stuff has started up. I need to ask someone. Random thought, I know.
