With a little bartering (and a lot of charm) I convinced two of my wonderful geeky neighbors to flex some linux brain muscle and install new photo software for me. Many of my issues with installing it in the first place are due to the old OS I have running. That's the next big project I'm working up to, but I have some decisions to make before then (stick with linux? which OS to use? what hardware to replace? get a laptop?)
But now I've spent way too much of my night sorting through hundreds of photos - culling, cataloging,labeling, resizing, and posting a few. Over the next couple of weeks, expect to find photos posted (on Facebook and Flickr probably) of my trip to New Zealand, Mike and Emily's wedding, soccer and beer buddies, aikido, etc. I'll add some links when I get to that point.
