Because no one I called picked up the phone (if they were all busy watching the soccer game, they are forgiven), I shall hereby be very girly and write about my date here.
So I went on a date with a guy who A) seems sane and B) is not some kind of misunderstood artist. Originally we were just going out for a cup of coffee but we ended up doing that, walking around town, having dinner and then watching a movie. He wasn't perfect, I consider that a good sign since guys I've previously thought were perfect turned out to be jerks. But he was very nice, sweet and funny and I felt comfortable around him and conversation was never a problem.
And yes, he totally likes me. I'm not sure why, but I'm feeling very triumphant right now.
