NOTICE:
I was without internet for a week.
A WEEK, PEOPLE!
Time Warner and Ted Turner are dead to me! Yes, that includes you Jane Fonda.
You cannot imagine the things I had to do to entertain myself. It was quite sad, actually. On second thought, don't imagine anything. I have my 'net back and that is all that matters. Moving on...
In news that will matter to few other people, Ann Wilson's solo album
"Hope & Glory" comes out tomorrow. For those of you still reading, it is basically a cover album of songs "specially selected for the troubled days in which we live" aka anti-war :D I have been looking forward to this day for quite a while and I could not be more excited!! I, of course, I have had an advance copy for a while now and
tallulah2 and I have listened to it about 7,598 times, but that is beside the point. I wanna hold it and touch it and look at the pretty pictures. Mine shall also be autographed because Ann is sweet that way :P
In honor of September 11th, and the message conveyed by Ann's song choices on her new album, I give you this:
Ann Wilson - Isolation (John Lennon cover) It's simple, full of emotion and just plain gorgeous.
It is exactly why I love Ann so much.
Enjoy.
