Okay, I've seen 3 fantastic movies this past week and I must share.

~Kiss Kiss Bang Bang~
akdhgakjhdgkah!!
Oh. My. God.
I haven't laughed that hard in I don't know how long. Four different times I had to pause the movie and roll around on the floor for about 5 minutes.
Val Kilmer + Robert Downey, Jr. = LOVE
Everyone must see this now.
Oh and a 24 connection, which just adds to the awesomness.

+I never knew I could buy Val Kilmer as a gay man, but he's a damn good one. Not too over the top, but just enough to be hilarious. I mean his name is Gay Perry. Come on!

+I've never been a huge fan of Robert Downey, Jr. but this film was just perfect for him. The narrator parts were genius.

+I wish I could quote some of the funny parts to you, but I'm already about to short out my keyboard with the tears I'm crying right now just thinking about them.

+Apparently Jack Bauer has a another day job because he's credited as "Best Boy" in the credits. *giggles* I bet no one beats up his kids :D

+The only drawback? Boobies. Lots of boobies. I don't know why I always have to see so many boobies. Like most of my favortie movies, I can look past that because it's awesome.

lennongirl has an awesome in-depth thing with caps and quotes that I would do myself, but I'm lazy :P Uh, it might be friend-locked...*shrugs*

~Running Scared~
The Tarantino/Rodriguez lover in me adored this film. It's bloody and stylized and interesting and completely over the top. I can't quite figure out when these type of movies because my favorite genre.

+It's Kill Bill meets Sin City meets Spun, but not quite as good as that sounds.

+The kid from Godsend & Birth is in it and is still creeping me out.

+The shootout scene that takes place in a blacklit hockey rink? BEAUTIFUL and utterly disgusting. LOVE IT!

+A had a few problems with the story itself. The ending was a bit contrived, but I got over it.

~Firewall~
The movie itself is not that fantastic. Actually it's kind of awful. Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) is in it so that's enough reason to watch right there.

+Harrison Ford's character's name is Jack Stanfield. MLR plays Jack's secretary. Do we see where this is going?

+Paul Bettany tells Jack to fire Janet (Chloe) because he doesn't like her being so suspicious of him. With his family in danger, Jack agrees.

+Janet's reaction to getting the axe:"Screw you, Jack!"
BEST. EVER.

Also, another Glenn interview bit. It's an after the show podcast thing. This one's only 10 minutes or so, but they do mention Jean.

"You found yourself in Jean Smart's arms last night."
"Not an entirely bad place to find one's self."

Oh, and he thinks the Wizard of Oz is the greatest film ever made.

STOP. MAKING. ME. LOVE. YOU.
