I just watched Avengers....
Literally I have Sigyn battling in my head. There are two forms of her duking it out and I feel it's going to give me a headache soon. VERY soon.
I have the good Sigyn, the one who is still so very much in love with Loki and wants never to give up on him.. The one who wants to be his savior, to bring him back to who he once was. She's still his She-Wolf, the one that will go for the throat of anything trying to harm him. She just wants him back.
Then... There's the other Sigyn.. The Darkness filled Ice Queen hellbent on breaking Loki completely. She's not against psychological warfare and she wants to show him the harsh truths that she realizes now. (I won't mention what those truths are because I desperately want to play them against Victor because I think that his reaction with Loki will be tremendous). But she has it down, she has the truth of his actions nailed.
But.. Seriously? They are fighting hardcore and this is always how I've pictured Sigyn in this Darkness Spawned plot. She's stuck on the inside, battling this Darkness that isn't even so much a Darkness as a sentient being. A being which only I now understand was purposely sent to Asgard and purposely attached itself to the Tablet of Life and Time. I know where this being came from and holy SHITE.. She's struggling for a handle hold, a place of redemption and I'm not sure if she'll be able to find it until it's too late for her to come back from it all.
Sigyn has basically become more or less a puppet like Loki in Avengers. She's just a tool meant to be used to destroy, destroy what? Weeeeeeeeeelll we'll see once the plot comes to a head. I dont' want to spoil tooo much ;)
Honestly though, I knew watching Avengers would help click the last pieces of the Sigyn puzzle into place. And while my mind is scrambled from the AWESOME of it all... I have a full scale idea where this verse is headed now and it's not simply the scattered plans I had before it's so so much more.
Essentially.. I think by the end of this whole plot, Sigyn is going to be dramatically changed and I feel there are going to be some tears shed during the finale of it all.
And now I must sleep.
