A Paid Vacation... I think so!

So today hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be.  I was kind of dreading this day since I had to do weekly counts instead of the smaller version with the daily counts.  But even though my GM was gone for awhile due to his kid getting a cuncussion at Paoli Peaks today, he kindly returned to help me get the counts done much faster!  I usually don't mind doing them, but it has been quite a while since I have done end of week counts, and I had never done them at this store, and I definitely would have forgotten a few things if he hadn't helped me.  Then it got even better.  I told him I wanted to take vacation during spring break this semester, which I have never had the luxury of doing, and he told me I could!!!  That definitely made my day, and when I found out my bf could more than likely get that week off too I was more than stoked.  So I actually get to leave town and go stay with a friend in Lafayette to get to know the scenery and seee if I like it there before I make the decision to move. 
Now there is a downside to today.  My tooth ache is definitely back, and has been killing me for hours.  While at work it hit, and I was doing counts, taking care of customers, counting cash, and dealing with teenage employees all while trying not to break down crying due to this damn tooth!  But I guess it could be worse, I finallly got it to calm down enough for me to be able to sleep tonight, so I guess I will be okay... for now.
But today was descent all in all, so I guess it is time for me to go do some reading for classes this week and hit the pillow untill I go to work again!
