ohhh my goodness... haven't updated since February? what kind of person am i??! and i haven't seen or talked to maria, leah, claire, or miranda in like, eons... so here's an update on my weekend:
thursday-
broadway pops choir concert. Jessica, kira and I leave early to go to IHOP cuz we were hungry and bored. Crazy mom finds out and grounds me from the after party for prom. Great.
friday-
-chipotle with wills and kira.
-nail appointment. I wanted a design but they didn't have enough "time" I didn't tip the lady. hehe
-broadway pops again. it was the seniors' last performance so everyone was crying. L
saturday-
-mad mayhem for prep for prom, stole fake eyelashes and nail stuff from the asian dollar store ;)
-ashton, my so-called "date" calls at 5pm, 15 minutes before we were supposed to meet, to freaking bail on me. he was "sick" and "throwing up"
-i cry. alot. because this happened to me at homecoming last year too.
-Mrs. Cristiani, Anthony's mom and my new hero, runs down and is like, "ohhh hell no, you are too gorgeous to be sitting there with no date, crying." she gets on the phone and calls around for a last minute date.
-at this point, i just dont care anymore, because now there was a huge hole in my dress, right at the ass, where the zipper begins. life can't get anymore wonderful. not.
-finally she finds a senior who goes to T.J. who had had his prom the night before and had a tux already.
-we run around trying to fix the freaking hole, and i miss all the group pics. yay.
-we go to this Thai place in reston, the "Big Bowl" I pay for my own dinner.
-my date, J.R. turns out to be really hot and sweet. he went to Mexico last summer for a mission trip, and we click right away
- we get to the dance wayyy before anyone else does. Apparently all the cool kids come 2 hours later and we didn’t get the memo.
-dance was a blast. The front of Wills’ pants chain gets stuck to the back of jeanine’s dress. Ha. Ha. You get the picture.
-came home by 1.30 am. Got yelled at. What a swell evening.
-spent total of 175$ on prom. Not bad. Next year, we are all showing up in a party bus completely wasted. Sounds like a plan to me.
