So I tuck it all away, like everything's okay
If I make them all believe it, maybe I'll believe it too
So with a painted grin, I play the heart again
So everyone will see me the way that I see them
Are we happy plastic people
Under shiny plastic steeples
With walls around our weakness
And smiles to hide our pain
But if the invitation's open
To every heart that has been broken
Maybe then we close the curtain
On our stained glass masquerade
Is there anyone who's been there
Are there any hands to raise
Am I the only one who's traded
In the altar for a stage
The performance is convincing
And we know every line by heart
Only when no one is watching
Can we really fall apart
But would it set me free
If I dared to let you see
The truth behind the person
That you imagine me to be
Would your arms be open
Or would you walk away
Would the love of Jesus
Be enough to make you stay
~~the church today is fake. we believe that if we show real pain that we will be shunned by people. "chirstians don't have problems. christians dont feel pain. christians cant show whats really going on." IM SICK OF IT!!!!!!!!! why can't we be real. why does this have to be so hard. why are we the country in the world where there isnt even a difference between christian and non. christians lie,cheat, steal, cuss, drink and smoke under-age, are perverted, use the Lord's name in vain. and so much more. im sick of it!!!! i cannot stand people using the Lord's name in vain anymore. this is the God we serve and we reduce him to any other word. people who wrote the bible would sometimes take a bath before the would even write the name of God. u might think this is legalistic and i'm not saying we do this but it was a sign of the fear of the LORD which is respect. you saying the Lords name in vain is like slapping God, the almighty one who could strike u down in less than a millisecond, in the face and saying " i dont respect you in the least." im sick of it. im sick of not being different. im sick of us not being real with our faith. i'm sick of us calling ourselves christians and then doing all that the world does. I'm sick of church being a social event and not a time to connect with God. i'm sick of not being able to be real b/c of what people would say about me! i hate this. we have reduced christianity to nothing! its like it isnt even special enough to us to peserve. everytime we do something wrong we make GOD CRY!!!!!!! its like getting punched in the stomach over and over again. I HATE THIS. why wont we be different. why dont we love God enough to stand up for Him and do what is right. thats what it is-- if u didnt realize that. its like we dont love God enough to be different. people of other religions RUN THEMSELVES INTO BUILDINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they kill themselves for something that isnt even true!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE THE FREAKING TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why dont we use it. gah i'm sick of people being hypocrites. i'm right up there with them. i want to be different from the world but i'm not all the time. STAND UP CHRISTIANS!!!! STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE. FOR GOODNESS SAKE BE DIFFERENT. SHOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE GOD. GET SICK WITH THE WORLD. QUIT LIVING IN SIN. QUIT STEALING LYING, GOSSIPING, BEING FAKE. HEY HOW ABOUT THIS:
