Okay, so I don't post here often. But since cosplay is a main topic on LJ, I decided to just let ppl know what I'm planning to do for AX.
Eric and I are planning to Cosplay FMP (full metal panic, in case your mind went blank briefly) first: Me as Chidori Kaname, and him as Sagara Sousuke.
After making these--which should be relatively easy, and I'm planning to have sewing days with a friend here--if I have time, I'm going to start making either Litchi Faye Ling or Noel Vermillion.
HowEVER. . . .
I already know that I'll look better as Litchi so I'll probably end up cosplaying her. Especially because I know there will be lots of great Noel's, and I'm very easily intimidated, especially because I'm still working to get to the weight I want for all three cosplays.
Then I'm going to make Eric's Ragna (if he wants to--he seems ot want to stick to simple cosplays this year because neither of us want to be stressed and we MAINLY want ot have fun. >:) But I have a couple days and he's going to be busy those couple days before AX, so I figure I can take his measurements one day, cut out the fabric the day, pin it together and have him try it on roughly for size, and then sew it all next day.
IF I have time, I might also try to make Noel and Jin pair because I think their outfits are WOW. Heh.
Problem right now is that financially, I'm have a really hard time right now because my school screwed up some of my things. Hopefully that will work out by the end of the week, however. I'm also going to see if I can start getting work full time the week before I go home and once I come back so that I can make the max amount of money I'm allowed. Then I can save some money up *_*. :3
Let me know what you guys think about my plans? If you think it's dumb or you can think of a better way to do it, I would REALLY REALLY appreciate your telling me, especially because every one of you have more experience than I do in all this. >:
BTW, if you guys can suggest what kind of fabric would be best for all these cosplays, I would really appreciate it. :DD
On more (or less?) interesting new. . . . .
I fell down the stairs today. Like. . not two steps. Or three. But a full flight (about 10-15 stairs?) from top to bottom. Haha. I've got to say, it's one of the more scary experiences I've had.
Luckily, I landed mostly on my right shoulder and thigh (I dunno how I maneuvered myself to do that, I just know I was falling and landing), and so aside from the bruises on those two regions as well as pretty painful muscle pulls on the neck and shoulders, I'm actually quite okay. Hahaha. I just thought I'd blab because I rarely have something interesting happen, and this seems to be the only newsworthy kind I have--self-inflicted pain, albiet accidental.
Also, this is random I actually don't expect a reply to this portion but:
Does anyone know of any random work I can do while I'm home (for about 3 weeks)? :P
Anyway, this is a HII from me, who rarely likes to use LJ.
