There are times when I'm so angry at my Dad. He's turning 65 later this year, and is therefore retiring as of 1 April. He has now announced that on 6 April, he's going to the US for 3 months, and does not even seem to have noticed how this has upset my Mum. This morning my Mum rang to tell me that my uncle has passed away unexpectedly. He was in his car, in the middle of Christmas shopping, when he had a heart attack. He managed to pull the car over, before he died. He was 67, two years older than my Dad ( Read more... )

This morning at 10:31, an airplane crashed just a few miles from where I live. Its engines lost power for as yet unknown reasons as it was landing, causing it to literally "fall out of the sky", and crash on a plot of farmland near the runway.
