Just dropping in before bed to wish each and every one of the beautiful people on my flist a very Merry Christmas!
I spent today dropping in on my grandmother, and the evening having dinner with the family. What more can one want?
Also, Hetty Wainthropp was on BBC 2 this afternoon, which means I got Dom for Christmas as well! ;)
And I just finished watching the Doctor Who Christmas special...
It was awesome! David Tennant needs to be the Doctor for the next fifty seasons or so or else I will be heartbroken. He is just perfect: smiley and goofy one moment, darkly terrifying the next, and he all does it effortlessly.
I loved the set-up of it, with the Titanic. I spent six months wondering what they were going to do with it, seeing as how Nine already did the original Titanic (it is mentioned in eps 1.1 and 1.2), I figured Ten might run into his former self, which would be wicked but impossible since Eccleston would never do DW again. So I liked the spaceship twist, and the limited knowledge of Earth everyone had. Eating the people of Turkey, hee!
The Heavenly Hosts were great monsters. I laughed every time they said something, *ding* "Information..."
Also: Alonzo? Brilliant! I loved the look on the Doctor's face at that.
But: they bloody killed off Kylie! I knew she was totally doomed from the moment she asked the Doctor if she could travel with him, but still. I felt gutted for the Doctor when she died. She might have been his next Rose.
And who's excited about next season's preview? I am! No Rose, sadly, though I guess they're saving her for last. But there's Martha! Donna's back! The Ood, OMG! Is it spring yet?
