Ok, I know it's a bit short notice, but I do want to do something for Kilted's birthday. Technically it's the 13th (yes, he was born on a Friday), but I know that wouldn't work as a get together day for really anyone.
So I was thinking that it might be nice to get together casually on either Friday, 15th, or Sunday, 17th. Friday Kilted will be at the hospital until 3 PM (unless he has to assist in a birth and then who knows when he'll be home). Saturday is an outing to collect information for a school paper... which leaves Sunday as s (right now) open day for getting together. I know everyone else has things on their own plates (who ever said things calm down after faire) so, please let me know if you can make it for a cook out at our house, Sunday, September 17th, around 2 PM. It'll be casual, just people hanging around and talking, but I will try to have cake and such.

Yeah, sorry for the short notice, these thinks kinda creep up on me, ya' know?

Edit: In light of this being short notice... and all the other things people already have to do this weekend, how would you all feel about having one big Fall Birthday Bonanza? Then we can celebrate all the fall/winter birthdays in one big grand style. Maybe, since we're already planning a fall feast in November, we could do something then and spring for a pretty and yummy cake. So, what do you think of them apples?

Edit 2: I talked to Kilted about getting together sometime this weekend and that doesn't work for him either. Darn school. Looks like 'I'm' the only one free this weekend. :-)
Hm, maybe we should just do quarterly big birthday parties going forward... well, except for the 3 months around Bristol maybe. :-)
