Senior Time!
I miss my super Ford summer, but i'm ecstatic to announce that I'll be returning this summer to complete my 2nd internship with them! this means they totally love me and ill probably get a job when i graduate ;)
the days of a senior are much harder than i thought. i was used to the 12 hour days of junior life but usually it was only three days a week or so. now its 16 hour days, every day. let me run you through a typical Lizz day:
7am: get the fuck out of bed
745: leave for class
8-930: P.E.C. aka Powerplant shit. aka: wtf did they merge this with a graduate class? i dont have the brainpower to handle a 5000 level class right now.
9:30-11:30: debug thermocode with P.E.C. group.
11:30-1: scarf down a sandwich while plugging away at PROD work.
1-2: EDP group meeting. guess who got stuck making the final revisions on our 22pg report?
2-6: Finish PROD and turn it in. eat another sandwich while revising report. run out of time. so much for heat transfer.
6-8: attempt body plug layup at the formula shop. james dented the mold. fucking ass. spent rest of time with paul trying to putty it. so much for our four hour layup. looks like im missing bowling tomorrow to make it up. go out earlier than expected. first break all week. not happy.
8-9: house chores.
9: fuck, its only nine? im home before midnight? WHAT DO I DO?! WHAT IS A TV?! SO MUCH INTERNET TO CATCH UP ON!
so here i am..writing an LJ post. i miss the days where id have a whole half hour to eat my god damn lunch. im getting sick of sandwiches...
